Here are the most common reasons:
- Posts with copyrighted music (songs in Reels or videos).
- While these songs are permissible within Instagram (Instagram secures the necessary rights for use inside their own apps), they are not allowed to be shared outside Instagram, for example on your online store. This is a standard policy to respect and protect copyright laws.
- That is why a Reel can play normally on Instagram but may only appear as a still image on your store (no playable video with sound). That limitation comes from Instagram, not from a setting in our app.
- A post is only removed from the feed when Instagram does not allow it to be shown outside Instagram at all. In that case you may see a copyright warning in the app admin.
- Collaborative posts are only available when you are the original author of the post.
- If you are added as a collaborator on a post and not the original author, the post won't be available on the Instagram API as part of your own posts.
- However, with our Plus plan, you can display collaborative posts where you have been tagged on Instagram. Read our guide below for more details on how to show tagged posts on your feed.
