New- Shopify Sidekick: Instafeed now works with Shopify Sidekick in the Shopify admin. Ask whether Instagram is connected, why the feed is not showing, how to connect Instagram, what feeds you have, whether the app block is on your homepage, analytics for the last 7/30/90 days (Plus), or which integrations are enabled. Sidekick uses live store data, help docs search, and deep links into the app.
Improvement- Settings page search and navigation: settings are grouped into tabs (Design, Shopping experience, Content, Notifications). Search any setting by name or keyword and jump straight to it.
- Free plan stores can now set mobile rows and columns in the feed layout (same controls previously limited to paid plans).
- Email campaigns embed HTML now matches your feed image format (1:1, 9:16, 4:5, etc.) instead of always using a square crop. Like counts are no longer shown on post images.
- Improved video playback on mobile, including when autoplay is limited (e.g. iPhone Low Power Mode).
Fix- Fixed pin and reorder on Manage posts: reordering works correctly with filters active (including hide all posts by default, search, and product filters), the grid updates properly after pin or unpin, and repeat drags on pinned posts no longer fail.
- Fixed continuous scroll slider: post images load before each slide moves into view (including Chrome), transitions no longer pause between posts, and the carousel loops correctly from the last slide.
- Fixed Top posts in Analytics not showing thumbnails for posts uploaded from Files.
- Fixed SEO and AI rich snippets not updating when your feed changes.
- Fixed feed posts showing extra background or spacing on some Shopify themes.
