Product and collection feeds is available on our Plus plan only.
The Product and collection feeds feature lets you automatically display feeds on product and collection pages, showing posts with that specific product or collection. This feature works with a single feed setup, so you don't need to create multiple feeds. Follow this guide to learn how to set up product and collection feeds with the Instafeed app.
Step 1 - Turn on the "Product and collection pages filter" setting
- Go to Shopify > Apps > Instafeed.
- Under Product and collection pages filter, select one of the options:

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Off | Shows the full feed with no filters. Use if you want a general feed, not specific to any product or collection. |
| On - show matching posts only | Shows only posts featuring the product or collection on the page. Use when you want your feed to focus solely on that product or collection. |
| On - show matching posts or fallback | By default, shows posts featuring the product or collection on the page. Fallbacks: - If there aren’t enough posts to complete the feed, the remaining spots are filled with recent posts. - If no product and collection posts exist, it shows the full feed. Use if you want a feed with relevant posts that always displays content. |

- Click Save feed.
Step 2 - Tag products and collections
- Tag products and collections to ensure your Instagram posts show up on product and collection pages.
Read our guides for step-by-step instructions on how to tag products and collections:
Step 3 - Add the feed to the product or collection page
- Click Add to theme.
- Select Product page or Collection page.

Adding the feed to a product or collection template displays it on every product or collection page using that template. Each page will only show posts with that product or collection tag.
Common questions
- Why is my feed not showing any posts on product or collection pages?
This usually happens when no products or collections are tagged on your Instagram posts. When the Product and collection pages filter is set to "On - show matching posts only", the feed only displays posts that match the product or collection on the page. If nothing is tagged, no posts will appear.
- Do I need to create separate feeds for each product or collection?
No, a single feed is enough. The feed automatically filters posts based on the product or collection of each page.
- Do I need to add the feed to every product or collection page?
No, you only need to add it once to the product or collection template. It will then appear on all pages using that template.
- How do I make sure posts appear on the correct product or collection pages?
Make sure the correct products or collections are tagged in your Instagram posts, either manually or using automatic tagging.
- Can I use this feature with both products and collections at the same time?
Yes, a single feed can be added to both product and collection page templates. On each page, it will automatically show posts based on the product or collection tagged to that specific page.
